ALLAIN, GÉNÉREUX - 1933 - 2012 - Généreux Allain, 79 husband of the late Fernande (Maillet) Allain (1991) of Saint-Thomas de Kent, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, July 28th, 2012. Born in Bouctouche on January 28th, 1933, he was the son of the late Pius and the late Lina (Duguay) Allain. He will be sadly missed by his five children; Joanne Breau (Azor), Gloria Cormier (Yvon) of Bouctouche, Diane Allain (Eric) of Waltham, Mass, Pauline Gauvin (Jacques) and Alvin (Charline) of Cocagne, his six grandchildren, Mathieu, Yves, Jessica, Nathalie, Monica, and Jeremie. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Lilliane LeBel of Edmundston, Ella Belle Isle (Félix), Bertha Mills (Eddie) of Bouctouche, his two brothers; Bernard (Stella) of Saint-Antoine and Oscar (Bernise) of Bouctouche, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one brother, Roger (2006).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Monday, July 30th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
