(November 26, 1929 - July 27, 2012) Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, July 27th 2012, Jack Turner of Islington aged 82 years. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his loving wife of 58 years,Muriel(nee Chislett) and six children four sons and two daughters; Gary (Mavis), Danny (Bernice), Donald (Glendene), Johnny , Edna Baker (Cyril) Betsy Brown (Bruce); ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also lovingly remembered by three sisters, Stella (Ed), Viola (Ches), Rosalie (Lewis) and one brother Jim (Sharon) as well as a large number of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Matthew’s Church Hall, Islington on Sunday, July 29th and Monday July 30th 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from St.Matthew’s Anglican Church Heart’s Delight on Tuesday July 31st at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
