RONALD MERLIN FRASER 1931 - 2009 Ron Fraser passed away at Royal Inland Hospital on February 22, 2009. Ron had valiantly battled emphysema for many years. Ron was predeceased by his parents, C.M. Bud and Marie Fraser and brothers Lorne and Chubb. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara, his stepsons Terry (Joanne) McPeek of Sorrento, Gary (Leslie) McPeek of Kamloops, and nephews Ron, Colin, Bob, and nieces Leigh and Andrea. Ron was involved with his family at Fraser Travel, operated the Esso Service Station in Barriere and worked at Sears Automotive when he retired. Ron was an accomplished athlete and loved skiing, curling, boating and especially fishing. He was also involved with showing horses. Ron and Barbara had been living in Osoyoos, and had just taken up residence in The Hamlets in Westsyde. At Ron's request, there will be no service or memorial
