It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Louise Desveaux at the Glace Bay Hospital, Glace Bay, on Jan. 9, 2010.
Louise was a longtime resident of Frederick Street, Whitney Pier. She enjoyed flea markets and yard sales. She was very interested in astrology and horoscopes. She loved to dance, shop and take her yearly trips to British Columbia to spend time with her family. Louise also had a great love for animals.
She enjoyed life to the fullest and socializing with her many friends, who will sadly miss her.
Louise is survived by her son, Roy (Greer) Desveaux, Sooke, B.C.; grandchildren, Alexander and Dylan, her best friend, Marg Hennick, as well as many dear friends.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. A reception to follow.
