September 16, 1917-January 2, 2010 — Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, January 2, 2010, Amy Rowe of Dildo, aged 92 years. Predeceased by parents, Ralph and Lavinia Pinsent, husband Albert James Rowe, brother Signey Pinsent and sister Zeta Martin. Leaving to mourn, niece Margaret Thomas of Dallas, Texas; special cousin Viola Higdon and family; special friends, Phyllis Brazil, Doris Newhook (Collingwood Downs), as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, with visitation on Sunday, January 3rd, 10 a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service was held from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Dildo, Sunday, January 3rd at 3 p.m. Interment followed at All Saints’ Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the All Saints’ Cemetery Fund.
