Kenneth Mersereau

MERSEREAU, KENNETH - Kenneth James Mersereau of Fredericton Junction, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 surrounded by his family. Kenny was born in Fredericton Junction, October 20, 1950 to the late Rainsford and Inez (Segee) Mersereau. Ken is survived by his wife Marcelle (Pelletier) St.-Onge, one step-daughter Nancy (Donnie Cowan), of Fredericton Junction and one son André (Carrie Campbell) of Fredericton, his sister, Carol (Mike) Davenport and his brother, Ronnie (Alice) Mersereau both of Fredericton Junction. He also leaves behind four grandsons; Brennen Campbell, Stephen Phillips, Brandon and Cameron Cowan, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his parents Kenny was predeceased by his brother Eddie. Ken had worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a Cartographer before he retired. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55where he enjoyed many Friday night pool games. Kenny loved hiking on the trails in and around Fredericton Junction and could be found on them all year round.
At Ken’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
