It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY (MIN) GREEN formerly of Tacks Beach, Placentia Bay, NL announces her passing at the US Memorial Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the age of 100. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons Gordon (Ethel) of New Brunswick, Harvey (Holly) of Sudbury, ON and Ernest (Kay) of North Sydney, NS; Daughter-in-Law Una Green; Sister Lottie Hapgood of Arnold’s Cove; 10 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Joseph; Son Clarence; Daughters Rosie and Matilda; 11 Brothers and Sisters.
Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Burin on Thursday, August 2nd from 3pm – 9pm, and Friday, August 3rd from 10am – 9pm. Funeral Service will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Ship Cove on Saturday, August 4th, 2012 at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Hodder’s Point. In Min’s memory donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Perish, the US Memorial Health Care Centre or flowers gratefully accepted.
