Passed peacefully away on August 3, 2012 surrounded by his loving family, Edward Patrick Browne, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his cherished wife Doreen (nee Hynes), his parents John and Ellen, brothers Bill and John, sisters Mary Murphy and Patsy Hynes, parents-in-law William and Elizabeth Hynes, sister-in-law Myra Picco. Leaving with beautiful memories are his five daughters: Christine (Walter White), Karen, Denise Gamberg (Mike), Paula (Robert Dinn) and Lisa Browne Peters (Ken Peters); son Terry (and his step-son Luke), seven grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason), Sean, Matthew, Kristen (Patrick), Robert, Lauren and Scott, one great- granddaughter Gracie. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Frances Kelly, Barbara Mason (Harold); brothers: Patrick (Kay) and Joseph (Jean); sisters-in-law: Norma Hynes and Eileen Browne and brothers-in-law Lorne Hynes and Jim Picco. Edward also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, two step-grandchildren (Madeleine and Sean), other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Chancellor Park (Diamond Drive), as well as the nurses and physicians of the Emergency Department and 5 North A at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and dedication. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 7-9 p.m., Sunday and Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday August 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
