BRYDGES, GREGORY - Gregory Brydges of Memramcook passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the age of 80 after a brief illness. Born in Pointe du Chêne, he was the son of the late Luther and late Beatrice (MacPherson) Brydges. Greg was retired from Irving Oil after 29 years of service. He will be sadly missed by wife, Anna (Sonier); his two daughters, Frances (Adam) Fulker of Calgary and Patsy (Andre) Bourque of Dieppe; two grandchildren: Gregory and Alice; nine sisters, Willa (Leonard) Joudry of Moncton, Audrey (late Donald) Gordon of Pointe du Chêne, Rita (late Ralph) McDougall and Phyllis (James) O’Donnell both of Saint John, Esther (Robert) King of Ontario, Violet (Harry) Chappell of Shediac, Linda (John) Waldron of Ontario, Lois (Hayward) King of Saint John and Joan Davidson of Ontario; three brothers, Claude Brydges of Pointe du Chêne, Nelson (Leona) Brydges of Shediac and Leslie (Florence) Brydges of Scoudouc and by several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Robert.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallée, Memramcook on Friday, August 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held in Greenwood cemetery, Pointe du Chêne.
