WILLIAMS, John Wilson .July 10th, 1945 - August 21st, 2009.It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of John Williams on Friday August 21st, 2009. John passed away peacefully in his sleep at Royal Inland Hospital after a short battle with cancer. John is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jean (Gloria), and his children Sylvia, Andrew, Trevor and Ronald. John will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. John was born in Selkirk, Scotland but spent most of his life in the Kamloops area. He worked as a surveyor for the government for over 30 years. John's memorial service will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 177 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, BC, on Saturday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Mike Watkins officiating.
