McLEAN, EVELYN MARIE - The passing of Evelyn Marie McLean wife of the late William McLean occurred Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 17, 1939 in Magaguadavic, NB she was the daughter of Jane (Bishop) Thomas and the late Arthur Thomas. She volunteered at the hospital, was a homemaker and a foster parent. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting and knitting. In addition to her mother, Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Catherine Cleveland (Harry) of Oromocto, NB and Rita Carten of Fredericton, NB; sons, Robert McLean (Lillianna) of New York, USA, James McLean (Samantha) of Fredericton, NB and Thomas McLean (Carrie Ross) of Fredericton, NB; sisters Eileen Parker (Clarence) of Fredericton, NB, Jean Rowan (James) of Lincoln, NB and Virginia Phillips (Ben) of Tweedside, NB; brothers Arthur Thomas (Helene) of Kingsclear, NB and John Thomas (Lorraine) of Lincoln, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The Funeral arrangements are to be announced through McAdam Funeral Home's website. Pallbearers for the service will be Arthur Thomas, John Thomas, James McLean, Jason Cleveland, Christopher Cleveland and Thomas McLean. Interment will take place in the Harvey Community Cemetery.
