In Loving Memory of Ronald Michael "Ron" Boruck July 28, 1944 - July 21, 2009 Ron passed away July 21, 2009 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House in Kamloops, BC, with his wife Elaine and daughter Laurie by his side. Ron was born in Vancouver, BC, on July 28, 1944 to Nellie and Michael Boruck. He spent his early years in New Westminster, BC, went to UBC and upon his graduation he moved to Courtenay BC, where he started his career as a Social Worker. He then worked in Hope, BC and in Chilliwack, BC, where he retired in 1999. In 1999, Ron followed his dream and bought an RV Park. With hard work he made it into a beautiful place. He made many friends at the Park and enjoyed coffee in the Rec Room every morning and evening with the campers. In 1989, Ron married Elaine, the love of his life. Elaine and Ron always were together and devoted to each other. Ron was a kind, gentle man who was a devoted father, step-father and grandfather. Ron will be sadly missed by his children, Randy Boruck, Dawna (David) Maxwell, Jeanette (Gerrit) Vlutters, Laurie Ellen Sturby-Strang, Jerry Strang, Teresa Khan and Ken Martin, and by his grandchildren, Codi-Lynn, Chantell, Fredrick, Nigel, Kennadee and Keetyn. A Graveside Service for Ronald Boruck will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Barriere Cemetery, Barriere, BC.
