TILDEN. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a loving mother, grandmother and friend, Marie-Anne Elizabeth Tilden (Beth) on July 16, 2009 in her home. Beth was born July 20, 1935 on a farm in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan to Bette and Henri Parenteau. Beth and her family moved to Kamloops in 1951. Beth is survived by her son Mike McKellar (Helen) and their children and grandchildren, Ann MacLellan (Rob) and grandchildren Michael and Ella; sisters Eleanor and Isabelle and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Cleo, Finnigan and Daisy. Beth was preceded in death by her husband and true love, Bill, her sister Ann and her brother Donat and both parents. Beth loved her family, animals, friends, square dancing, horseback riding, traveling, sports (watching and participating), volunteering for the Speed Watch and the Korean Veterans Association. We love you, Beth. A Celebration of Beth's Life will be held at the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Krushel officiating.
