It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rodney Spurrell, beloved and treasured son of Florence and Clyde, and brother of Terry, Kim and Gail, who passed away on July 21st, 2012. Rodney was born in Come-by-Chance and grew up in the small town of Butter Cove. He was a compassionate person who was known for his friendly disposition and positive nature. He was a natural woodsman who enjoyed nature, playing sports and fishing. He was looking forward to starting school in the fall where he was going to take Power Engineering in Corner Brook. Rodney is survived by his parents Florence and Clyde, sisters Gail and Kim, brother Terry, nephews James and Hunter, brother-in-law Sam and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His sense of humour, his wonderful stories and his beautiful blue eyes will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Rest in peace our beloved Rodney.
