Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on August 11, 2012, Beatrice Matilda Smith, age 92, from Elliott's Cove. Predeceased by her husband, Clyde, parents, Richard and Ebelina, sister, Gladys, brothers, Raymond and Hayward, son-in-law, Stan Rogers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Calvin (Betty), daughter, Rosalind, grandchildren, Audrey, Susan (Kenneth), David; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon, Cody, Kristine; great great grandchild, Lucas. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Vera Abbott took place on Monday, August 13, 2012 with interment following at the United Church Cemetery, Elliott's Cove.
