MCCLENNON 1943 ~ 2009 Sharon Rita McClennon of Kamloops, BC passed away on July 14th, 2009 at 65 years of age. Survived by her loving daughters Wendy (Paul Sims) Hamilton, Dawn (Bernie) Horner both of Kamloops, grandchildren Kevin (Mandy), Tasha (Dan) Hamilton, James, Dan (Dallas) Wilson, great granddaughter Taylor-lynn, brothers and sisters Darl (Ken) Brown, Bonnie (John) Carlson, Darcy (Peggy) Horn. Sharon was predeceased by her husband Len, parents Anne & Cecil Horn and daughter Renea McClennon and brother Doug Horn. Born in 1943 in Nipawin, Sask, Sharon married in 1962 to Lenard McClennon in Kamloops. Len's work took them all across BC and Alberta. Sharon settled back in Kamloops in 2005 and fought a hard battle with cancer, which took her home to be with those who left before her on July 14, 2009. She slipped away peacefully with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by those she left behind. Special thanks to the staff at the Hospice. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on July 18, 2009 in the Rosewood Room at the Kamloops Funeral Home. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on July 18, 2009 in the chapel with John Carlson officiating.
