DAHL: Alma Gladys Dahl age 87 years, of Swift Current, SK passed away August 3, 2012 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. The funeral service was held at 2:00 P.M., August 8, 2012 from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. The interment service was at St. Johns Cemetery, Fosterton District, SK. The ushers were Richard Camphaug, Norris Rya, Elmer Meyer, Keith Bratvold and the pallbearers were all Alma's nephews and nieces. Alma is survived by her sister Lyla Dahl, sister-in-law Marilyn Dahl; nephews and nieces; Ingvald Dokken, Glenn (Sharon) Dokken, Jerry (Nancy) Dahl, Douglas (Marleen) Dahl, Harvey (Marlene) Dahl, Marvin (Brenda) Dahl, Richard Dahl, Mary (Wayne) Bennett, Shirley Smith, Neil (Mona) Dahl, Dennis (Kathy) Dahl, Marshall (Nancy) Dahl, Howard (Catherine) Dahl, Valerie (Anthony) Traboulsee; and many great nephews and great nieces, who were all very special to Alma, as well as great great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Helge and Jonetta Dahl; brothers Alvin, James, Ole, Norman, Sven and Lloyd: sisters Bertha and Helen; sister-in-law May Dahl and brother-in-law Lewis Dokken. Alma was born January 9, 1925 on the farm near Scotia School in the Fosterton district, SK. She was self employed as an Avon salesperson for over 40 years. Her high sales volume made her eligible for the Presidents Club with the company more than once in her career. She was a member of the E.L.W. (Lutheran Women Group) and the St. Olaf Church for many years. Donations in her memory to the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
