It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary Frances Gaudet, age 58, of Dominion passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John William and Frances Lydia (Keats). Mary was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd, Dominion. She enjoyed playing darts and creating numerous canvass crafts. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandsons, David and Ryan.
Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband, William David; daughters, Kimberly Gaudet (Corey), Jennifer Gaudet, Christine Gaudet (Shawn); son, Eddy Gaudet and cherished grandsons, David and Ryan.
Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation for Mary Frances Gaudet will be held Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in V. J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Judi Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Reserve.
