Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 9th, 2010, Kathleen (Kay) Dawe (McGrath) age 90 years and former employee of Newfoundland Hotel. Predeceased by her husband Mike (1986). Left with a lifetime of fond and loving memories; sons: John (Patricia Perry), Wayne (Marion Counsel); daughters: Karen (Larry Moulton) and Judy (John McDonald); brother Pat McGrath (Agnes); 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 13th from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. Hiscock and all the staff of 4 West St. Clare’s for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Parkinson’s Society, Newfoundland and Labrador.
