Clark, Donald Alan – 59, Truro passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of Walter and Georgina (Martell) Clark. Donald worked 35 years for Crossley Carpets (Tandus). He was noted for his party trays which he enjoyed preparing for family and friends in the community. He was known to many as “Santa”, showing up especially during the Christmas season and at Christmas parties as Santa. The comforts and peace of his backyard provided many moments of relaxation. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his parents, he is survived by is loving wife of 30 years, Shirley (Fielding); daughters, Cecelia Clark, Camilla (Thomas) McLean, both of Truro; sister, Elizabeth Clark, Truro; brother, Darrell (Sandy), Yarmouth; nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and cousins He was predeceased by sister, Sharon Clark; grandparents, Alice and Thomas Connor, George and Thelma Clark. A visitation of celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 17 from 7-9 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro.
