Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2008, Gwendoline Reid, aged 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Louis, son, Gary, sister, Madge and brothers Jack, Austin and Robert. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: David (Rosemary) Wells of Corner Brook, NL, Ruth (Barbara) of Vancouver, BC, Wayne (Norma) of Portugal Cove, NL, and Judy (Ernie) Harnett of Dartmouth, NS, daughter-in-law Lynda of Stratford, ON, brother George (Clarissa) Hiscock of Conception Bay South, NL: sister Elizabeth Hippern of Bedford, NS, Mildred Rose of Bishops Falls, NL and Marina Dunn of Arab, Alabama; grandchildren: Andrew, Wendy, Andrea, Pamela, Stephanie, Carolyn, Steven, Kathryn, Mark and Geoffrey; great grandchildren Egan, Megan, Joshua, and Jordan; sisters-in-law: Catherine Dyke of St. John's, NL and Eileen Caines of Corner Brook, NL, brother-in-law Walter Reid of Corner Brook, NL as well as a large number of family and friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander, with visitations Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at 2 p.m. from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Gander.
