EVANS, GARY CHARLES March 8, 1953 - June 24, 2009 Gary passed away unexpectedly at Vancouver General Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Betty, step-son Jason, brothers Karl (Marilyn) and Lyle (Leona) and sister Arlene as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his passing special friends Thelma Cooke and Phil Cooke of Calgary. Gary was born in Vancouver and was predeceased by his parents Charles and Ann Evans. Gary worked at Wal-Mart for the past fifteen years. He enjoyed country life and had a very emotional side to him which showed up in his writings to those that were dear to him. We will all miss him dearly. The family would like to thank the doctors on 4B for their excellent care during his short stay at Vancouver General Hospital. A celebration of Gary's life will be held at his home in Pinantan on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 1:00-3:00pm."Forever in our hearts and never forgotten".
