LLOYD ROCK 1944 - 2009 With great sadness the family regrets to announce the passing of Lloyd Rock. He fought a courageous battle against congestive heart failure for many years, until he finally succumbed to the disease on June 28th, 2009. He is survived by his wife Donna of 43 years, his daughters Cheryl, Kim (Robinson), and son Kevin, his grandchildren Alex and Rachel (Robinson) as well as his mother-in-law Myrtle Speers. He was predeceased by his mother (Margaret), father (John) and brother (Lyle). Lloyd was born on October 25th, 1944 in Regina, Saskatchewan where he met and married his wife Donna and started his family. As a young man he always dreamed about living in British Columbia and came to realize his dream in 1975 when he moved to Penticton. After moving to Kamloops, Lloyd worked for many years at Canada Post. His quick wit and jovial personality endeared him to many friends who affectionately called him "Rocky". His passing leaves a tremendous void in our lives and he will be sorely missed. As per Lloyd's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
