1915 ~ 2009 John Teichrib of Kamloops passed away on June 4, 2009 at 94 years of age. Survived by his children Doreen Smith, Reg (Jan) Teichrib , grandchildren B.J. (Robin) Teichrib, Tina (Jeff) Buster. Great grandchildren Curtis Teichrib, Dalton, Brooke and Jessica Buster, brothers Henry and Jake. John is predeceased by his wife Clara, sisters Sara and Lena, brothers Abe, Dave, Bill and George. John was born Feb. 26, 1915 in Morden, Manitoba. He married Clara Walske Sept. 27, 1938. John and Clara had two children Doreen and Reg. The family moved to Haney (Maple Ridge) BC in 1947. John worked many years in the forest industry as a faller earning the name "Johnny the faller". John and Clara relocated to Kamloops in 1990 to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. John enjoyed hunting, skiing, doing motor biking and camping earning the title "Camp Cop". John's greatest love was fishing at Gorman and Leighton lakes. John was a top-notch mechanic spending many hours working on family and friends vehicles. Special thanks to Pine Grove Lodge.
