September 5, 1955 -November 18, 2008 We regret to announce the untimely passing of Lanny McQuaid, which occurred in Calgary, Alberta. He was the son of the late Arthur and Rita (MacMillan) McQuaid of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Lanny is survived by his brothers, Lewis, Brendon and Shayne; sister, Donna; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Wilhelmena, and his brother, Regius. Lanny will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family and all his friends in Calgary and Prince Edward Island. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2008, from St. Dunstan’s Basilica, Charlottetown, P.E.I., with Father George Smith officiating. Interment to take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of one’s choice is appreciated.
