Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Health Center, Gander on August 16th 2012 Christine (Teen) Turner age 78 years. Teen or Tina as she was later known as, lived for her family and friends. Steadfast and independent she accepted life as it was, responding to both the good and the bad with equanimity. She especially loved her grand and great grandkids; each held a special place in her heart. We will all sorely miss her.

Predeceased by parents Charlie and Julia Moss, brother’s Leslie and Douglas, sister Nettie Squires and son Perry. Left with loving memories are her long time partner Jack Parsons, sons Pat (Joy) of Edmonton, AB., Doug of Coehill, ON., daughters Glenys Moss (Larry Hann) of St. John’s, Valerie (Ron) Byrne of Gander, Pam (Cyril) Abbott of Gander, step son Raymond Parsons (Laurie) of Whitby, ON. sister Betty (Wilbur) Moss of Gander, grandchildren Joshua, Daniel, Julie, Stephanie, Jill, Kelly, Shayna, Sheldon, Shannon, Bob, Rylee, and 10 great grandchildren. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Bhrambhatt, the nurses and staff of the James Paton Memorial Health Center, Medical Floor and ICU. Rested at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. Funeral Service was held Saturday, August 18th 2:00 p.m. at St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Cremation followed.
