SUSAN DOWDS November 5, 1952 - May 29, 2009 Beloved wife of Martin for 39 years, and wonderful Mom to Cheryl (Kelly) Ledbetter, David (Tammy) Dowds, Kevin (Christine) Dowds, Donna (Ian) Goodwin, and Grandma to Tabitha, Tasia, Noah, Presley, and Tawnie. She also leaves behind her Mom, Joan, brothers Larry, Les, Lyle and Michael and sister Cathy, as well as many more family and friends. Susan was predeceased by her Dad, Eugene Johnson in 1971, as well as her Grandpa, Donald Ketchell in 1973 and her Grandma, Edna Ketchell in December 2001. Susan loved life and was always a positive and happy person. She brought joy to those around her and was devoted to her family, her faith, and helping others. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and loved making them laugh. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 423 Hydro Road, Clearwater, BC. Tea to follow.
