RICHARD (Dick) WARREN It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Dick Warren on May 28th, 2009. Born in Lashburn Sask. on December 14th, 1932 Dick had a life filled with love for family and friends, he could always be found with a smile on his face and a helping hand to lend to anyone. Dick was predeceased by his parents Bud and Beth Warren, brother Dalton Warren and daughter Birdie Lynn Warren. Alzheimer's may have taken memories but not love for family and life. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 57 years Marg. Daughters, Beth (Lyle), Bev (Gary), Ida, Heather (Grant), and son Bill. Grandchildren, Steve (Kathleen), Greg (Christine), Roger (Trisha), Brent (Dawn), Crystal, Rob and Candice. Great Grandchildren, Alysha, Tanelle, Mia, Ami, Jocelyn, Kayden and Morgan. Dick was with the CNR for many years, but also was an auctioneer and school bus driver among other jobs. He had many passions and interests in life from The Pine Tree Riding Club in earlier days to Rodeo announcing. Dick drove bus for senior outings and for Ducks Unlimited youth program. Dick delighted many a school child on the interesting and very informative trips to McQueen Lake, where his love of the local history was shared. We would like to express our thanks to the Overlander staff who took Dick into their lives and hearts and gave him great loving care. A celebration of Dick's life will be held in the Schoening Tea Room on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of B.C., Box 277 Kamloops, B.C., V2C 5K6 in Dicks name would be appreciated.
