MCBRIDE On May 18, 2009 Mr. John (Jack) McBride passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helene, his two sons Gary (Karen) of Cloverdale, B.C. and Robert (Sharyl) of South Prairie, WA, USA and four grandchildren Dustin (Victoria), Michael, Lisa and Allyson and two great grandchildren Liam and Kale. Jack was predeceased by his parents and one brother. He was born May 12, 1925 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Jack was a veteran of World War II and served on the lead minesweeper on D-Day. He was a true "jack of all trades". Jack will be greatly missed by his family. The family wish to especially thank Larry Price for being there when needed. No formal service by request.
