We, the family of the late Helen MacKay who passed away on July 27, 2012 at the Cove Guest Home, would like to express our deepest gratitude to our family, dear friends and wonderful neighbours, and to all the kind people who sent sympathy cards, emails, flowers, memorials and food sent to our homes. A big thank you to everyone who supported us in our time of grief; also to the the management and staff of Sobey's North Sydney for their show of support and understanding. To Helen's nephew Billy MacKay for his beautiful eulogy which brought to life many wonderful stories of a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother and friends. Thank you to Rev. Murdoch MacRae, Kevin Richardson, choir of Bethal Presbytarian Church. Mr Bill Sneddon and to Ben Furey for his beautiful solo. A loving thank you to Helen's honorary pallbearers, grandson Kyle, great grandsons Craig and Kohlton. To the staff of the Cove Guest Home, thank you does not seem a strong enough word to convey our gratitude for the much love and friendship and special care Helen received during her time at the Cove. Thank you to Dr. John Archibald, Dr. Dugas and Cathy and the Palliative Care Staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Thank you to Earl MacDonald and Danielle MacDonald for the opening and closing of the grave at the MacKeigan cemetery. Thank you to the ladies at Loch Lomond Community Center for the beautiful lunch. Thank you to Wayne Weatherbee and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
