On Aug. 9, 2012, we were all saddened to say good-bye to “Fred”. His perseverance and courageous battle with numerous health issues had finally ended.
He was born on July 24, 1950, in Sydney to the late Willie John and Cecile Chiasson.
Fred was predeceased by his parents; infant sister, Linda and father-in-law, Robert Dew.
He is survived by the love of his life, Judy; son, Robert and daughter, Raven. He is also survived by brothers, Clarence (Sheila), Tom (Brenda) and sisters, Elaine (Leonard), Charlotte-Anne (Bruno); mother-in-law, Margaret; sisters-in-law, Cindy, Margaret-Ann (Carl) and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
The family would like to acknowledge the special kindness shown by life-long friend Mr. David MacQuarrie.
A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at First Memorial, Fraser Heights Chapel, Surrey, B.C.
