Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, August 21st, 2012, Herbert Jarvis of Whitbourne, aged 71 years. Predeceased by wife Edna Jarvis, father John Jarvis, brother Clarence Jarvis and infant sister Florence Jarvis, parents-in-law Cyril and Evelyn Lunnen, infant granddaughter Jessica Brace. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother Theresa Jarvis of Fair Haven; his loving partner Winnie Tucker; five children: Brenda (Perry Brace), Chance Cove, Paul (Carolyn), Holyrood, Tracy (Mark Pryne), Brampton, ON., Dennis (Deanne), Clarke's Beach, Denise, Red Deer, Alberta; nine precious grandchildren: Matthew Brace, Courtney Brace, Andrew Jarvis, Jonathon Jarvis, Rebecca Jarvis, Nicole Pryne, Joshua Jarvis, Olivia Halfyard and Joshua Goodland; four sisters: Ethel (Bill Thorne), Cambridge, Jessie (Tom Hearn), Cambridge. Hilda (Terry Fahey), Bellevue, Carol (Doug Reid), Mount Pearl; three brothers: Gorden (Doris), Winnipeg, Wallace (Phyllis), Nova Scotia, Norman, Cambridge; sister-in-law Violet (Ross Brace), Green's Harbour; brothers-in-law: Harvey (Ruth Lunnen), Marystown, Rhodie (Elaine) Lunnen, Little Harbour. Also remembered by the Tucker Family and a large number of family and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation: Thursday and Friday 1:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:30 pm. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 am from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.
