It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin George Guy announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday August 22, 2012 at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Joan, daughters Debbie of Calgary, AB, Joanne (Pat) MacWhirter, one son Kevin (Neta), grandchildren Stephanie, Samantha, Nancy, Matthew, Renee and Danielle, one great grandson Jude, brothers David (Betty), Eugene (Sheila), Jim (June) of Calgary, Gerry (Marion), Larry (Lena), Wilfred (Marilyn), sisters Joan Dicks, Judy (Gerald), Diane (Alex), sisters-in-law, Mary and Merla, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by Brothers Clarence (Chum), Tom, Frank, Claude (Jr.), Parents Claude & Rita, infant brother Wilson, brothers-in-law Peter Dicks, Jim Oliver, sister-in-law Mamie, mother and father-in-law Raymond & Ella Nash, nephew Peter Dicks and niece Catherine Kryski. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Thursday August 23, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Friday August 24, 2012 from 10 A.M. to noon. Funeral Service will take place from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday August 24, 2012 at 2 P.M. with Reverend Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
