JARDINE, BERNICE MARY - Mrs. Bernice Mary Jardine, wife of Arthur Gordon Jardine, of Blackville passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at The Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, Boisetown, at the age of 78. Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Arthemise (nee Malley) Maillet. She was a homemaker and very proud of her french acadian heritage. Besides her husband, Bernice is survived by her daughters, Terry Iwaniw of Calgary, AB, Carol Perron of Moose Jaw, SK, Debbie Taylor of Brampton, ON, Pamela Jardine of Nashwaak Bridge and Paula Jardine (Ted) of Upper Gagetown; her sons, Ronnie Drillen (Trish) of Barrie, ON and Rodney Jardine (Shelly) of Blackville; her sisters, Shirley Gillespie of Blackville, Theresa Crawford (Kim Arbeau) of Mactaquac and Ramona Shannon of Fredericton; her brothers, Blaine of Hay River, Zoel of Blackville and David of Blackville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Furlong, Muriel Hogan, Sally Arseneault and her brothers, Jackie Myers and Felix Myers.
Mrs. Bernice Jardine is resting at Father A.A. McKinnon Memorial Room, Blackville, with visitation on Sunday, August 26th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 27th at 11:00 a.m. at St-Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, Blackville, with Father Joseph Okoko officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
