Peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Saturday, December 6, 2008, of Mrs. Mary Elva MacDonald (nee Gallant) of St. Margaret’s, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Albert Richard. Loving mother of Vivian (Merrill), Eric (Edie), Billy (Augusta) and Claudette. Survived and sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister of Gordon (Helena) Gallant. Predeceased by late husband Leland MacDonald, Dan (Blanche) Gallant, Olive (Earl) Peters. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris, for visiting hours on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral to be held Tuesday morning from St. Margaret’s Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
