Aged 58 years passed away with family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, December 6, 2008, of Mr. Paul James (Dinger) MacDonald of Charlottetown. He was the son of the late Wilfred B. and Stella MacDonald of Parkdale. Survived by his wife and partner Cheryl Poulton, son Danny (Tammy) MacDonald and daughter Sara and their mother Jeannie Pitts; brothers and sisters Cecil (Elaine), Michael (Judy), Wilfred, Regina Smith (Leigh), Maureen Thompson (Mike), John, Claudia MacFarlane (Ron), grandchildren Devin and Kali MacDonald, Cheryl’s brothers and sisters and their families. Paul also leaves to mourn a large extended family of nieces and nephews. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
