FOSTER, EVELYN E. (BELDING) - It is with great sadness we announce the death of Evelyn (Nan) Foster on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on February 15th, 1926 in Wapske, NB she was the daughter of Madeline and Roy Belding. Evelyn was married for 68 years to her husband, Lewis Foster, and had eight children including Lorraine Storey, Thea Lucas, Dianne (Alexander) Buchanan, Creighton (Penny) Foster, Richard (Sue) Foster and Dale Foster; sisters, Marg McCoy and Muriel Searle; brother, Clyde Belding. She was predeceased by her sons, Graham and Larry. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was proud of her grandchildren and their careers with the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP. Evelyn worked at the Oromocto Public Hospital for 22 years as a cook. She loved to travel, eat out and mostly, loved her days with Lewis. They were referred to as 'the gypsies'.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 30th at 11 am. A private family interment will take place in the Burton Cemetery.
