STAIRS, CHRISTINA EMMA - Christina E. Stairs, formerly of Temperance Vale, NB passed away August 27, 2012 at Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born in New Hampshire, USA in 1908, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Yates) Stairs. She was a member of Temperance Vale Baptist Church. Christina is survived by a son, Keith Stairs (Lorna), Kleinburg, ON; a daughter-in-law, Helen Stairs, Michigan, USA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Abijah R. Stairs; a son, Laurence Stairs; two sisters, Leona Munro and Madelyn Perkins; and a brother, Delmont Stairs.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Hal Babcock officiating. Interment at Temperance Vale Cemetery.
