Passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, Edward Joseph Cook, retired Tinsmith, age 83 years. Predeceased by wife Alice (Bransfield), 1979, parents Arthur and Mary Jane Cook, sisters Jean Cook and June Garland and brother Arthur Cook. Leaving to mourn daughter Barbara, with whom he resided, son Robert (wife Susan, grandson Ryan), son Edward (wife Phyllis, granddaughter Callie); daughter Michelle (grandchildren David and Allison Crotty and their father Mike); brothers: Ron (Ruth), Ray (Shirley), Roy (Hope); sisters: Joan Dillon and Joyce (Bill Squires); sisters-in-law: Mary Bransfield, Rita Lundrigan (Peter), and Marie Cook; brother-in-law Don Garland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 16th at 11:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
