CHESTNUT, SHARON ANNE - Riverview, N.B. - September 27, 1948 – September 1, 2012 - It is with great sadness our family announces the death of Sharon Anne Chestnut of Riverview, N.B. formally of Bartibogue Bridge, N.B. Born in Chatham NB September 27, 1948. After a lengthy battle with cancer she passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, N.B on September 1, 2012; With her loving husband, sons and best friend Shirley at her side. Sharon is survived by her husband John Chestnut and her two loving sons David Chestnut, Jason (Rebecca) Chestnut and granddaughter Elora. Three brothers: Carl Anderson (Sheila) of Delta, B.C.; Moffatt jr. Anderson (Sadie) of Perth, Ont; Wayne Anderson (Linda) Hamilton/Caledonia, Ont. With special mention to dearest friend Shirley (Claude) Cormier. Also survived by many sisters in law’s and brother in laws, many friends nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Moffatt and Adella (Carroll) Anderson of Bartibogue Bridge, N.B. and oldest brother Frank (Alice) Anderson of Dartmouth, N.S.
Visitation will be at Maher’s Funeral Home , Miramichi, N.B. on Tuesday September 4, 2012 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at St Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bartibogue Bridge, N.B. with her cousin Father Allison Mahoney officiating.
