MERCURE, ROSIE - 1926 - 2012 - Rosie Mercure, 86, of Les Résidences Mgr Chiasson Inc. Shippagan and formerly of Sainte-Anne de Kent, passed away peacefully at the Residence on Sunday, September 2nd, 2012. She was married to the late Raymond Mercure (2005). Born in Richiboucto-Village on February 8th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Georges and the late Julie (Richard) Thibodeau. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Georges Babineau of Moncton and a longtime friend Edward Gibbs of Shippagan. She was predeceased by one sister Alvina and one brother Léo.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Sainte-Anne de Kent Church on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Rosie’s memory donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Sainte-Anne de Kent parish.
