Jack (John Roderick) MacDougall passed away in a Nova Scotia hospital on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, after a long, brave fight, surrounded by the loving arms of his wife Dolly and the McEachern clan, who were an unwavering support throughout his illness and his life. Jack is survived by daughters Colleen, Heather, son-in-law Mick and dog Suzie. Jack was a trucker and a proud member of Teamsters Local 419. Residing in Brampton his last 40 years, he was an avid gardener, horse racing and Detroit Red Wings hockey fan. Son of Ceceilia and Neil MacDougall, he grew up in Summerside and is survived by brothers Lawrence, Francis, Irwin (Myrna), Don and Ron (Sheila). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald MacDonald House. Celebration of Life service will be held at J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr., Halifax, N.S., on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m.
