It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenny MacLeod, 60, on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Harold and Nelda (MacKillop) MacLeod, New Haven.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marilyn (Ingraham); son, John, Jersey Cove, and daughterm Amy (Jamie), Neil’s Harbour. He is also survived by his brother Donnie (Lonia), Saltspring Island, British Columbia; and special aunts, Marie Bethune, Baddeck and Jean MacLeod, New Haven.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mack MacLeod and his best four legged friend, Duke.
A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held Sunday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at St. Ann’s Bay United Church, River Bennett, with Rev. Cameron Brett officiating.
No flowers by request of the family.
