GALLANT, LUCIENNE "LUCY" MARIE (LÉVESQUE) (TOBIN) - Lucienne "Lucy" Gallant of Tracy, NB, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Lucy was born on May 18, 1936 in Edmundston, NB, to the late Oliver and Celina (Pelletier) Levesque. She will be greatly missed by her two daughters Kate and Dorothy Tobin, two step-daughters Diane Fontaine (Yvon) and Mary Richard (Gilbert), her three sons Richard Tobin (Amy), James Tobin (Carol) and Leo Tobin (Susan), two step-sons Reg Gallant (Patricia) and Claude Gallant (Diane). As well her passing has left a void in the lives of her 15 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister Jeannine Gosselin and her brother Lucien Levesque, her brother-in-law Jack Tobin, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Leo Tobin (1979), her second husband Arthur Gallant (1995), her daughter Gertrude Tobin, a step-daughter Monique Gallant and a grandson Jason Daigle. She is also predeceased by her sister Theresa Pinnott and brothers Raoul and Aurele Levesque. Lucy was a lifelong home maker to her family. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch #55 Legion in Fredericton Junction; she enjoyed playing bingo and travelling with her Red Hatter friends, but most of all Lucy LOVED to dance and listen to “good music”.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at11am with Father Mark Trzop. Interment will be in the Saint Vincent de Paul Cemetery at a later date.
