It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Lynn Beatty of Kamloops, B.C. She passed away on September 4th, 2012 at 63 years of age.

She is survived by her children: Shawna (Chris) Preymak, Shane Beatty, and Sharla (Craig) Day. Grandchildren: Alexa, Gavin, Jayna and Carsen. Brothers and Sisters: Charlene (Doug), Shirley (Gordon), Donna (Felix), Doug (Shelley), Leona (Chuck).

She was predeceased by Lillian (Nanny) Stockham.

Carol was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and moved to Lynn Lake, Manitoba, married and had her family. She moved to Kamloops in 1978 where she raised her family and began her career as a loans officer at the Interior Saving Credit Union for 30 years. Carol was a loving, kind, devoted sister, mother, friend and nanny. She loved to spend time in her yard and care for her grandchildren. She loved to entertain and welcomed everyone into her home. She was well known for her generosity.

She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Carol was grateful for the love and support from her lifetime friends, Julie and Allan Johnson.
