It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eliza Allen Gould announce her passing on Thursday, January 14th, 2010 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her grandson Bertram Allen, Vancouver, BC; two sisters: Hazel Archell, LaSalle, Quebec and Blanche Pritchard, London, ON; special friends: Pansy, Ford and Travis Jacobs, Pasadena; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husbands Bertram Allen and Willis Gould; son Roger and sister Beatrice. Granting her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 18th at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Marks Avenue, Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Curling. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary The Virgin Church in Curling.
