Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, September 9, 2012, John Healey of Holyrood in his 73rd year. Predeceased by his parents: Thomas & Isabelle, his mother & father in-law, Michael & Anne Ryan, his sons in-law Gerard Kennedy & Wayne Hillegass, his sister in-law Elizabeth, & brothers in-law, James Murphy & Len Ryan. Left with fond & loving memories are his loving & devoted wife of 51 years, Agatha (nee Ryan), his children: Linda (Rick), Rick (Patti), Isabelle, Marlene (Brendan), Jackie (William), John (Teri), Michael (Lucy) & Gary (Rhonda); his seventeen grand-children: his brothers & sisters: Joseph, Tom (Eileen), Bill (Rose) Pad (Joan), Mary Fewer & Stash Murphy, his sister in-law Mary Wade, brothers in-law, Tom (Rita), & Paddy (Alice): many nieces, nephews and & large circle of extended family & friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Tuesday September 11, 2012 from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood.
