Mr. Robert E. “Bob” Jardine of Stratford, age 84 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the QE II, Halifax, N.S., on Friday, September 7, 2012.
Predeceased by his wife, Genevieve (nee Freeman); son, James; his parents, Robert and Margaret (Ratchford); and brother, David.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Susan, Andrew (Connie Chan), and Janet (Bob Rowsell); grandchildren, Rebecca and Lisa; sister, Margie; and brother, Philip. He will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
An open house to celebrate his life will be held at the home he loved in Keppoch on Saturday, September 15, from 1 to 4 p.m.
If so desired, memorial contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown or QE II Hospital in Halifax.
