Lucina LeBlanc
LeBLANC, LUCINA - 1941- 2012 - Lucina LeBlanc, 71 of Bouctouche passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 10th, 2012. She was married to Emilien LeBlanc. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on February 10th, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and the late Amanda (Collette) Savoie. Lucina worked at Beauséjour Fisheries until her retirement 9 years ago. She enjoyed quality time at the camp, making puzzles, bird watching, bowling and painting. Her true passion was gardening. Lucina was the most generous person and always helping others in need up to her passing. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Emilien (Mitch); her four children; Lucie Surette (Raymond) of Cocagne, Susan LeBlanc-Robichaud (Jacques) of Dieppe, Aquila (Louise) and Mike of Bouctouche, her four grandchildren; Karen, Lisa, Nicolas and Zachary, and one great grandson Alexi. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Irène Schmeisser (John) of Bedford, Raymonde Johnson and Odette Gaudet (Valmond) of Grande-Digue, and four brothers; Ulysse of Merigomish, NS, Yvon and Fernand of Edmonton, and Raymond of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one sister; Doris.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Lucina’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
