On September 5, 2012 Kaete Fowlie finished her battle with cancer and went to be with Jesus. She died peacefully in her home with family at her side.

Kaete is survived by her husband Brent Fowlie; her mother Gertrude Reitz of Vernon, B.C.; her daughter Audra Turner of Kelowna, B.C.; and her son Duncan Reitz of Castlegar, B.C.

Her family would like to express their deep appreciation for the many friends and professionals who have given Kaete such wonderful support during the three years of her illness.

A Celebration of Kaete's life will be held at the Southwest Community Church on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Shane Wiebe officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Life Mission.
